The New Mexico Rehabilitation Center is a 41 bed, JCAHO Accredited, Specialty Hospital for all the citizens of New Mexico. Twenty-One of the beds provide for Medical Rehabilitation Services for persons who have or are recovering from conditions such as stroke, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, traumatic brain injury, amputations, and orthopedic problems, such as hip and knee replacement. They offer inpatient and outpatient Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech/Language Therapy, as well as outpatient services for the Developmentally Disabled persons. Additionally, the Physical Therapy Department offers a community pool program in their warm water therapeutic pool.
