At the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science the origins and geological history of the Southwest are explored through full-scale dinosour models, a walk-through volcano, an ice age cave replica, a "time machine" and a naturalist center. A salt-water aquarium, as well as zoological and botanical exhibits are also featured.
