The park is named for radio and television star Ralph Edwards, who was instrumental in changing the city's name from Hot Springs to
Truth or Consequences in 1950. The park is bordered by the
Rio Grande and has sheltered picnic tables, a gazabo, a playground, horseshoe pits and restrooms.
