Red River

Red River is in Taos County, and in the Northeast New Mexico region. I'ts located just northeast of Taos between Taos and the Colorado state line along Highway 38 near the Rio Grande River.

Situated within the Carson National Forest.

Recreation is a high point when it comes to the town of Red River. Hiking is always a healthful activity, but around Red River, it is also spectacular. There are 138 miles of well-marked trails within our beautiful valley. You can also enjoy golfing, rodeo, four wheeling, mountain biking, horseback riding, and fishing on the Rio Colorado, or "Red River".

Red River is a well kept secret, you'll have that old west feeling when you leave.
