No doubt you have seen examples of natte black Indian pottery. The form was perfected by famed potter Mari Martinez of San Ildefonso. The pueblo was built upon her impressive heritage and produces some of the finest Native American pottery available today. There is a Visitor Center and a Pueblo Museum.
