Southwest Safaris departs from and returns to Santa Fe by airplane, and offers air-land combination tours to the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Canyon de Chelly, Arches/Canyonlands and Mesa Verde. The expeditions include exploration of landmarks and ruins and on-site explanations of the region's geological and archeological history. Scenic flights of northern New Mexico also are available. Tours last 1 day, some include lunch. Reservations are required.
