The Institute, home and studio of the Russian born artist Nicolai Fechin 1928-55, is intricately carved throughout and serves as a cultural center for the Southwest. Changing exhibits, including pieces acquired in barter for his own works, are displayed. Concerts, lectures, and other programs are offered.
