The Nora Dixon Place B & B is a territorial Adobe with a Southwest Northern New Mexico Greek Revival style architecture. The enclosed Courtyard faces Sandia Mountain where each room opens onto the courtyard providing easterly view for beautiful morning sunrise over the Sandia Mountain. The evening setting Sun turns Sandia Mountain a Watermelon pink that last for a few moments. It is an experience you can't and won't forget. If you are lucky, the Western shy may provide a show of colors provided by a few clouds refracting the sun color across the landscape.
The Nora Dixon Place Bed and Breakfast is constructed of Adobe, built with salvaged doors and other materials that make it seem older than its 38 years. Located on an acre and a half, the B&B is in an old agricultural valley along the Rio Grande, where the ancestors (Anasasi) of the present day Pueblo Indians lived and farmed.
