Amos Seaman School Museum

Off Rte 242, at River Hebert, turn right past bridge, six miles. Collection of photos and documents commemorating the life of Amos 'King' Seaman, a 19th century merchant and industrialist of Minudie, housed in a restored one-room schoolhouse. Genealogy of the Seaman Family. Walking tour of the area. Open July 1 to Sept 1, daily 10am-6pm. Admission free, donations appreciated. Restrooms and picnic area.
