This 1,000-acre natural park has hiking trails, outdoor pool, playground, tennis courts, picnic area, washrooms and baseball field. A winding stream flows through a deep gorge, where there are two picturesque waterfalls: Joe Howe Falls and Waddell Falls. For a bit of exercise, climb Jacob's Ladder, 200 steps to the top of a rocky gorge. Open 1 Apr-30 Nov. Admission free.
