Set along the south shore of beautiful Lake Tahoe, Edgewood Tahoe is in arguably one of the most scenic golf courses in the world. Designed by George Fazio and opening in 1968, Edgewood is rated by Golf Digest Magazine as one of "America's Top Gol f Courses". A challenging but fair test of golf for all ability levels, a choice of four sets of tees gives all golfers a course suitable to their game, playing from 5567 yards to a demanding 7445 yard test of golf.
Despite Edgewood's relativ e youth, the golf course has played host to a variety of major golf events. The U.S.G.A. came to Edgewood Tahoe in 1985 for U.S. Senior Open Championship. Most recently, Edgewood has been the annual home of the Celebrity Golf Championship.
