Genoa House Inn |
Historic Genoa, near Lake Tahoe and Carson City in the Sierra, is known as Nevada's oldest settlement. It is the location of the Genoa House Inn, an authentic Victorian home listed in the National Register of Historical Places. The house has been restored to the charm and tranquility of an earlier time. A.C. Pratt, a newspaper publisher, built the house in 1872 for his family. He printed the Valley's first newspaper here. Ask your hosts about the Inn's many interesting stories about its past owners.
