The only city chapel listed on the National Register of Historic Places this chapel has been conducting weddings since 1942 and married such stars as Judy Garland, Mickey Rooney, Dudley Moore and Richard Gere. Ann-Margaret and Elvis Presley said "I do" here in a scene from 1964s "Viva Las Vegas". The cedar and redwood chapel, located on the grounds of the Hacienda Hotel, has the original wooden pews and four Victorian lamps believed to be from 19th-century railroad cars.
