Washoe Medical Center is northern Nevada's trauma center for adult and pediatric needs. Facility has been verified by the American College of Surgeons as a Level II Trauma Center and designated by the State of Nevada. Since trauma occurs day or night, Washoe Med offers round-the-clock blood bank services, computerized tomography scans, magnetic resonance imaging and surgical services.
