Pyramid Lake is the only byway in the nation entirely within a tribal reservation. This route follows the shoreline of starkly beautiful
Pyramid Lake. Huge and mysterious, the deep blue waters are the remains an ancient inland sea. Noted for its fine fishing, also available are boat rentals and permits. The museum offers information about the lake and its native Paiute tribe.
