Starlight Express

This show located at the Las Vegas Hilton is unlike any other show in Las Vegas. It is a full-scale musical play-story and-all by Andrew Lloyd Webber and has played around the world. The plot is a little boy's dream of a race between a steam, diese and electric train with, naturally, a love story. The steam engine is the good guy while the other two are mean and cocky. The cast, clad in high-tech costumes, performs entirely on roller skates and it's quite dazzling to watch them roar around and somehow manage to appear so graceful. The songs are forgettable, sung live and quite prettily at that. The theater was redesigned especially for the show and the seats are plush and comfortable. Showtimes can vary, so call to confirm.
