Averill Park

Averill Park is located in Rensselaer County off highway 66 a few miles due east of Albany between Taborton and west Sand Lake near Cherry Plain State Park. It is in the Central Region of the state. Averill Park is part of the Albany-Schenectady-Troy, New York metro area.

It was named after James Knox Averill, a landowner.
