Chazy is located in
Clinton County in northeast
New York on Highway 9. It is located in the
Northern Region of the state.
Named for Lt. de Chzy, who was killed near here in a 1666 raid by the Iroquois. The settler Jean Fromboise was the first apple grower in the North Country.
