Dobbs Ferry

Dobbs Ferry is located in Westchester County in the Southern Region of the state and is part of the New York, New York metropolitan area.

It was named after Jeremiah Dobbs(or Jan), who began operating a ferry here in 1698. The older homes are known for their Vermont slate roofts and it was also the filming location for 2002 movie, "Unfaithful".
