Second Stage is a 296-seat, 17,000 square foot space theatre dedicated in developing plays, artists and audiences. It gives new life to contemporary American plays through second staging, provides emerging authors with their Off-Broadway debuts; and produces world premieres by America's most respected playwrights. In addition to on stage productions, it offers subscribers opportunities to meet each other, chat with artists, and explore the neighborhood. The theatre also hosts a variety of fundraising events, such as the annual All-Star Bowling Classic and Gala celebrations.
