Gansevoort

Gansevoort is located in Saratoga County in the Central Region of the state and is part of the Albany-Schenectady-Troy, New York metropolitan area.

It was named after Gen. Peter Gansevoort, Revolutionary War hero and grandfather of writer Herman Melville.
