Honeoye

Honeoye is located in Ontario County 40 miles south of Rochester on Honeoye Lake between west Bloomfield and Naples along Highway Alt20 near Hemlock Lake and the Honeoye River. Honeoye is part of the Rochester, New York metro area and the Western Region of the state.

Its name derives from Indian term for "a finger lying".
