Twenty-four centuries are on exhibit in this refurbished Florentine Ranaissance mansion. Founded by Charlotte Pruyn Hyde in 1952, the museum exhibits an important collection of European and American works of art and European antiques. Includes works by Picasso, Cezanne, Renoir, Rembrandt, Homer and Whistler. Among the works presented are paintings, sculpture, tapestries and period furniture.
