Johnson City is located in
Broome County just west of
Binghamton along Highway 17 near University Center at SUNY Binghamton in the
Central Region of the state. Johnson City is part of the
Binghamton, New York metro area.
It was named after George F. Johnson and the Endicott-Johnson Corporation.
