This highly competitive school was founded in 1886 as a private institution affiliated with the Conservative branch of the Jewish faith. List College offers undergraduate and graduate programs in all aspects of Jadaica, including Bible, rabbinics, literature, history, philosophy, education and communal service. There are 3 graduate schools. The 1 acre campus is in an urban area on the upper west side of Manhattan. Including residence halls there are 6 buildings, some of them historic.
Fraternities, sororities and many clubs and organizations are on campus. Tours of the campus are available on request.
