Located on the gentle slope of Cayuga Lake, Knapp Vineyards commands a magnificent view, and at a depth of four hundred feet, the lake plays an important role in creating a nourishing microclimate for Knapp grapes. Knapp's primary plantings are Vitis vinifera: Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. These "old world" grapes are known around the globe for their ability to produce high quality wines.
