La Guardia International Airport is located just 8 miles from downtown Manhattan with access via I95. The airport's four terminal buildings offer 72 aircraft gates, free shuttle service transports passengers between terminals. A garage for short- term parking is located in front of the central terminal and surface lots near all terminals. A long-term parking lot is located between the Central and US Airways terminals, other long-term parking is available in off-airport parking facilities. Arrangements for ground transportation services can be made at counters in the baggage claim areas of all terminals. Helicopter services are available.
