Macomb Reservation State Park lies just outside the Adirondack Park along the Salmon River's course toward Lake Champlain. Surrounded by state land, the park has a wilderness atmosphere. Visitors can swim in man-made Davis Pond, use non-motorized boats and fish in the pond or the Salmon River. The park has wooded campsites, playing fields, a picnic area, a self-guided nature trail and a hiking trail. Winter activities include ice skating, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling. I-87 to Route 22B. The park is 2 miles west of Schuyler Falls.
