Oyster Bay is located in Nassau County on Long Island Sound east of New York City on Long Island between Bayville and Muttontown along Highway 106 near Oyster Bay National Wildlife Refuge in the Southern Region of the state. From 1901-1909 Oyster Bay was home to Teddy Roosvelt's summer White House.
