Tonje Gallery is a premier fine-art gallery located in the picturesque Putnam County village. It was founded by Richard Ruchala and his daughter Tonje in July 2001 to coincide with the first Brewster Project. It is the only privately-owned art gallery in eastern Putnam County. Since its inception, Tonje Gallery has strived to show an eclectic mix of contemporary artists from New York City and the Harlem Valley.
