Trail Blazers facilitates the development of values and life skills essential for productive citizenship in inner-city youngsters through outdoor experiential education, year-round mentoring and leadership training. Founded in 1887, it has long been dedicated to providing enrichment and support to urban youth from all five boroughs of New York City and inner-city areas of New Jersey. Its programs empower young people to build vital life skills such as peaceful conflict resolution, leadership, appreciation of diversity and team work, while supporting and extending their academic and personal potential.
