The Church serves the religious needs of a small Orthodox community of Russian immigrants and their children who settled in New York's Capital District in the course of this century. It welcomes people of any ethnic background who seek salvation in The Holy Orthodox Church. The parish is under the jurisdiction of His Eminence Archbishop Laurus of Syracuse and The Holy Trinity, which is a part of the Russian Orthodox Church outside of Russia.
