Richfield Springs is located in
Otsego County 28 miles SE of
Utica between Schuyler Lake and Jordan along Highway 20 near Canadarago Lake in the
Central Region of the state.
It was named for the presence of white sulphur springs and Theodore Roosevelt came here in 1883, to recover from an asthma attack.
