The Historical Society is housed in the oldest building in Montour Falls, built in 1805, which used to be a stage coach inn and tavern. Exhibits of period artifacts reflect rural life in upstate New York. They include antique farm implements and tools, American Indain relics, ladies' fashions, antique toys and medical memorabilia. The bedrooms are furnished in period.
