Established in 1867, this is a public institution offering 35 undergraduate programs in liberal arts, sciences, business, and teacher preparation. There are 4 undergraduate and 1 graduate school. The 597 acre campus is in a small town 16 miles west of Rochester. Including residence halls there are 37 buildings. Fraternities, sororities, and over 80 groups are on campus.
