GO Project was founded in 1968 by members of the Grace Church parish and Grace Church School in Greenwich Village as a non sectarian and educational community outreach. It provides academically struggling elementary students a combination of tutoring, motivation, and family assistance from first through fourth grade so that they can improve academically and remain in school. Saturday tutorial program evaluates student's ongoing needs and progress. Summer sessions, workshops and meetings for parents, and family supper are programs offered.
