Uniondale

Uniondale is located in Nassau County on Long Island near the Southern State Parkway between Hempstead and East Meadow in the Southern Region of the state. Uniondale is part of the Nassau-Suffolk, New York metro area.

Uniondale grew after the opening of of Mitchel Field, a site now occupied by Hofstra University and Nassau Community College.
