The Inn On The Library Lawn is a stately Victorian era inn that has been the social and architectural centerpiece of Westport since 1877. Ten charming rooms, each with air conditioning, private bath, individual heat, and fine period furnishings. A well-stocked library and upstairs lounge area invite reading or quiet contemplation. Each guest room is named after a prominent author and stocked with several books. A full gourmet breakfast is served on the outside deck or in the lakeview dining room. Art and local Adirondack crafts are available. Five guest rooms and the dining room have commanding views of Lake Champlain and the Green Mountains of Vermont. Beach, marina, and championship 18 hole golf course within 5 minutes of the Inn.
