The Pratt Museum is dedicated to exhibiting the history and culture of the northern Catskill Mountains during the 19th century, especially the tanning industry best illustrated through the life of Zadock Pratt, the regions most prominent tanner. The Museum strives not only to interpret this period of history, but also to attract all age and interest levels to the Museum through diversified programs and exhibits, using the Pratt Homestead as a backdrop to many educational and cultural exhibits and events.

The museum is open seasonally.
