Barnesville is located in eastern Ohio in southwestern
Belmont County about 90 miles east of
Columbus and 20 miles west of the
Ohio River.
Area recreation includes trips to Barkcamp State Park about 10 miles to the east. In addition, the town sponsors the "Pumpkin Festival" usually held on the 4th weekend in September.
