Cambridge is located in eastern Ohio in Guernsey County (of which it is the county seat) about 65 miles east of Columbus just northwest of the I-70/I-77 interchange. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 5,611, a decrease of 98 since 1990.Nearby recreation includes trips to Salt Fork Lake about 5 miles northeast of town and Salt Fork State Park on the lake's eastern shores. In addition, Senecaville Lake is about 10 miles to the southeast. Local attractions include the Cambridge Glass Museum and Museum of Cambridge Glass.
