Carroll is located in central Ohio in Fairfield County about 15 miles southeast of Columbus and 10 miles northwest of Lancaster along U.S. Highway 33.

The town is about 10 miles from Buckeye Lake and its myriad activities. Another interesting attraction is the birthplace of William Tecumseh Sherman, a Union General in the Civil War, just minutes away in Lancater.

For those that enjoy golf the town offers Pine Hill Golf Course, a public, 18-hole course.
