East Liverpool Ohio

East Liverpool is located in eastern Ohio in Columbiana County about 80 miles southeast of Cleveland and 30 miles south of Youngstown along Highway 30/7 on the banks of the Ohio River. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 5,611, a decrease of 98 since 1990.

Outdoor recreation is nearby in Beaver Creek State Park about 8 miles north of town and Yellow Creek Forest is 5 miles to the west. In addition, Highlandtown Lake is about 10 miles west-northwest of town.

For golfers, the town offers Cedar Hills Golf Course, a public 9-hole course and East Liverpool Country Club, a private club but with a reciprocal guest policy for those wit memberships in other clubs. The course covers 9 holes and is about 3,200 yards long and plays to a par of 36.

Local attractions include the Museum of Ceramics.

Comments: Prices of homes sure have risen since a few years ago. This place IMHO seems to have ALOT of civic-minded people around. At times traffic is busy. We spent time in East Liverpool earlier this year. Watch out for unexpected weather in the PM. For some real enjoyment, check out Museum of Ceramics. You won't be disappointed.
