Fairview Park is located in northeastern Ohio in
Cuyahoga County along
I-480 about 10 miles southwest of
Cleveland and 5 miles inland from
Lake Erie. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 16,897, a decrease of 1,131 since 1990.
Nearby recreation includes trips to Cleveland Lakefront State Park on the city's north side. In addition, Big Met Golf Course, a public 18-hole, par 72, 6100-yard layout, beckons golfers of all skill levels.
