Gahanna is located in in central Ohio in
Franklin County and is a suburb on
Columbus's east side. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 31,579, an increase of 7,681 since 1990.
Those seeking outdoor recreation can find it at Hoover Reservoir and Alum Creek Lake about 10 miles north of town. In addition, Buckeye Lake and Buckeye State Park are only about a half-hour's drive to the east-southeast.
