Grandview Heights Ohio |
Grandview Heights is located in central Ohio in Franklin County and is part of the greater Columbus area.
The town was formed from the western part of the "Refugee Tract", a four-and-a-half mile wide land grant that ran east from the Scioto River 42 miles past Buckeye Lake that was promised to refugees from Canada and Nova Scotia that had helped the United States in the Revolutionary War.
Grandview Heights is mostly made up of older homes--many fourth and fifth generations. Together with the Marble Cliff area and Upper Arlington, it constitutes the "Tri-Village Community".
