London is located in central Ohio in
Madison County (of which it is the county seat) about 20 miles southwest of
Columbus. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 8,507, an increase of 700 since 1990.
Outdoor recreation comes in the form of Clarence J. Brown and Buck Creek State Park about 15 miles west-northwest of town. In addition, golfers will want to try Hickory Grove Golf Course, a 9-hole, par 36 layout built in 1977.
