Lucas is located in northeastern Ohio in
Richland County about 50 miles northeast of
Columbus and 5 miles southeast of
Mansfield.
The town is conveniently located near several recreational venues. These include activities around Charles Mill Lake, 5 miles northeast of town; Pleasant Hill Lake and Malabar Farm State Park, about 10 miles to the southeast and Clear Fork Reservoir, about 15 miles west of town.
