Middlefield is located in northeastern Ohio in eastern Geauga County about 35 miles east of Cleveland and 5 miles east of the Cuyahoga River. Some local attractions include the Middlefield Cheese House and Museum and the Pumpkin Fest in October. Grandview Golf & Country Club, which opened for play in 1929, is a public 18-hole course and plays to a par of 70 over its 5,900-yard length.
