Founded in 1981, Marburn Academy is the only school in Ohio for primary through high school students with learning differences. It uses non-traditional, multi-sensory teaching approaches. Classes at academy are taught using hands-on experiential methods. Individual Orton-Gillingham tutorials are available. Self-awareness program is offered to assist students in becoming proactive self-advocates. Importance is given for athletic, studio art, and music. Summer programs are conducted for students and professionals.
